It’s all about the glass.
Hot glass is one of the most addictive substances known to man.
Well, hot glass is one of the most addictive substances known to this man. My mother introduced me to blown glass when I was a child as we visited yard sales and flea markets on the back roads of New England many, many years ago. When I moved to San Francisco and discovered I had access to a glassblowing studio, well, then the adventure really got hot!
I blow glass at Public Glass, San Francisco’s non-profit center for glass art. I’ve studied at theCorning Museum of Glass studio, California College of Art, Public Glass, SFSU glass, and other venues. Ultimately, it’s the people I’ve worked with and learned from who have opened the world of glass blowing to me. To these people, I offer my thanks and appreciation.
